My brand new shiny diary.

Since I suck so bad at writing in a diary, I decided to open this blog and write here.  Now, here I am and if you're reading this - then here you are.  I am so glad you're here!  Let's get a few things straight about me before we begin so no feelings get hurt.  1. My grammar is terrible.  Expect a whole lot of comma errors, of all sorts, and a lot of these(......) and these ( - ) to fill the gaps.  2.  I'm really nice and I expect you to be, too - especially if you're visiting me snooping around in my very own, shiny, new diary.  So, no nasty comments about how I write.

Quick review of me:  Married to Tom and love him.  Tom works at an airline flying planes and I work at home and do a teeny bit of nursing on the side.  I also do nursing in the home, seeing that we have a new baby, Molly, and a 3 year old, Madeleine, and a 10 year old, Autumn, someone always has an ailment so it seems.  Dudley is our family dog( A beagle and a handful.) Blue is our family bird.  Pusstina is our family (outside) cat.  I spend my days chasing my tail and my children.

It snowed here in Galveston today.  No kidding.  None of it stuck but it did snow and I have a 10 year old witness and a 3 year old witness, and a 7 week old witness to prove it.   I know my witnesses are a little shady, with both the 10 year old and the 3 year old being prone to tell a fib every now and then ( we're still figuring out the 7 week old) - but hey, they're all I've got for witnesses on this besides the other residents of Galveston that saw the snow flurries.  I do have some pictures but they will have to wait because my eyes are crossed and I don't want them to stick that way.  I'll be back tomorrow.

Ps. Other things I did today:  Cooked ( chicken and it was just blah - tasted like chicken.)  Set up this blog/diary thing ( not too painful.)  Bossed the kids around ( basically counted to 10 all day taking deep breaths.)  Nursed the baby ( girlfriend loves to eat, too - just like mama.)  Played on Facebook (my lifeline to the outside world and other adults.)

Pss.  Since I don't have a picture ready to show of the snow today then I am going to show a picture of our family cabin covered in snow. The cabin is at Possum Kingdom ( I know, just google it.)  It's so pretty there.

  1. The picture of the cabin is from Easter a few years ago when it snowed on Easter Morning. I think it was 2007.

  2. i love reading your blog. i am so glad you decided to start writing down your funny stories. if you are interested in this website that shows you how to create free backgrounds, headers(that allow you to put a picture in your title area, etc) let me know. I use this site called template mama. not sure of her exact address but she is a stay at home mom that does blog templates for free. check out mine now. i got it from her site and customized one of her headers with the kid's pics. i am illiterate when it comes to html but she makes it very easy.
